Meet Anna
Through Scholars4Impact, I aim to empower students to lead with purpose, transforming compassion into action by reducing food waste, fighting hunger, and building a generation of young changemakers who create measurable impact in their communities.
Anna's Story
Driven by a deep belief that students can be the architects of real change, Anna Burlacu founded Scholars4Impact to turn compassion into community action. What began as a local initiative to redirect surplus food to families in need has grown into a student-led movement uniting young leaders across the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
A passionate advocate for sustainability and social entrepreneurship, Anna built Scholars4Impact on the idea that leadership starts with empathy and innovation. Under her guidance, Scholars4Impacy facilitated hundreds of meal donations and mobilized a growing network of student ambassadors dedicated to fighting food waste and hunger.
Beyond her nonprofit work, Anna is an active scholar and leader, serving as President of her school’s National Honor Society, Investment Club, and Great Thinkers Society. Her experiences in data analytics research and business competitions have shaped her vision of combining strategy, sustainability, and service to create measurable impact.
